Refashioning clothes

Tällä viikolla olen lähinnä puuhaillut ei-mini projektien parissa. Sain tuunattua kahdet farkut (otin niitä sisään ja muutin pillifarkuiksi, sekä tein toisiin farkkuihin reikiä, mitkä sitten peitin nurjalta puolelta paljettikankaalla) ja otettua sisään yhden topin ja suunnittelin aloittelevani toisen topin koristelua...

This week I've been keeping myself quite busy with non-miniature projects. I've refashioned two pairs of old jeans (by taking them both in and making them into skinnies and for the other pair making few holes and then covering them with sequin fabric from the reverse side) and taken in one top and now I'm going to start embellishing another top...

I don't have a before-picture of these jeans but they were a few sizes too big...

Joulupukki toi vielä myöhäisen joululahjan viime sunnuntaina Christine-Léa Frisonin kirjan Le grand livre de la maison miniature. Sitä olen tässä jo muutamaan otteeseen selaillut ja yrittänyt kääntää kielelle jota ymmärrän (miksi, oi miksi, luin koulussa saksaa!).


Santa brought me a little late christmas present last Sunday. Christine-Léa Frisoni's book Le grand livre de la maison miniature. I've been looking through it a few times and am trying to translate it into a language that I can understand (why did I study Germany and not French!).
